My work is inspired by the countryside and the sea, life experiences, relationships and emotions. I am constantly exploring traditional and new techniques.

Using paint, re-cycled textiles, stitch, organic materials and photo imagery, each piece will emerge through the tension, energy and vitality, surface design and applied colour can create.

In contrast, my other passion is the freedom of painting large images on canvas. Inspired by nature and colour, I follow my instincts and the patterns of my life when I feel a painting is about to begin. Starting a painting is exciting, inspiring an energy which is much like a dance around the canvas, a workout for the mind, body and soul.
